Ashley Wood has been one of my favourite artists for as long as I can remember. I first came across Mr Woods at a young age via his illustrations in numerous comic books, Tank Girl as an example. As I grew older my tastes moved into not just the illustration work but the larger, grittier and messier paintings of war, robots and slinky, saucy vixens. His collaboration of Sci-Fi and comic book characters pay homage to his more recognised works. He also makes very cool custom robots toys - and I'm sucker for a cool-looking robot.
