Eric Joyner

For thoose who have noticed I've been ranting and raving about robots lately, just to let you know I love robots. They have been a part of my work for along time - a consent source of fun and endless expression. Many moons ago I curated an art show based a robot theme, the simple rule being the artists' submission had to have a robot as either the main subject or otherwise appear in the work. The show, I have to say, was a success and I'm now planning a sequel show to kick off later this year. By pure chance, as I was looking up references for my paintings and characters I came across this artist: http://ericjoyner.com/ Eric Joyner has a huge portfolio of  work going back to early 2000. His obsession with tin robots, doughnuts and past eras make for interesting and humorous settings.
